The latest version of the since 1954 manufactured transporter Lockheed Hercules is capable of lifting a respectable 22 tons of freight, mainly thanks to its new Allison AE-2100 engines, which transfer approx. 6000 HP to the shaft of the newly developed six-blade propeller. Furthermore, the fuselage was slightly stretched which is why the Lockheed C-130J-30 is considered to be the world’s best transport airplane. The model in the US Air National Guard livery is equipped with an exchangeable hatch.
